Ingredients

  • 1 can cream celery soup
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tblsp butter
  • 1 lb kielbasa, cut into slices
  • 3/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 box frozen peas
  • 1 small can mushroom pieces
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar (1 cup)

Preparation

Step 1

Cmbine soup, water and butter in a skillet and bring to a boil. Add kielbasa and rice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 18 minutes until rice is almost tender. Stir in peas and drained mushrooms and simmer 15 minutes more or until rice is tender. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand until melted.
