Buttermilk Pie

Mix it all together, throw it in the pie shell, and you are good to go! That is what I LOVE about this buttermilk pie. That, and of course that it is oh so delicious!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons flour
- Salt, to taste
- 1 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Nutmeg, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Mix everything together and pour into an unbaked 9" pie shell.
Sprinkle the top lightly with nutmeg. Bake 15min. Reduce oven to 350° and bake 45min. Cool to allow filling to set.
