Ingredients
- 1 pound of italian sausage, casing removed
- 1 pound cooked peeled chestnuts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan or romano cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh marjoram
- 1 cup flour seasoned with salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 12 small pearl onions peeled
- 1 cup dry white wine

Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 7 ingredients and shape into meatballs. Roll in flour. In skillet heat thin layer of oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and onions. Cook for 10 minutes. Add wine and simmer into a sauce. Cover for 5 minutes. Makes 8 servings. If unable to get chestnuts use 1 pound of mashed potatoes. Makes 8 servings.
