This chicken and dumplings recipe is super easy, and perfect when you need a hearty and comforting dinner
- 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 can cream of chicken soup, herbed if you can find it
- 3 teaspoons of chicken granules
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt or more to taste

- 2 (8 ounce each) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter, melted

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Strata

Toss cubed bread with bacon, cheese, and mushrooms, and pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish
- 12 thick slices white bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh mushrooms (optional)

- 4 4oz cans green chiles (whole)
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 lb cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tblsp milk
- 1 tsp prepared mustard

- 1 tsp salt

This pie actually does just take a few minutes to prepare
- 1 can(s) crushed pineapples, undrained (20oz)
- 1 bx instant vanilla pudding mix (6 serving )
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 9 inch graham cracker crust
- 1 can(s) (8oz) pineapple slices
- 8 maraschino cherries
- 1/2 c sweetened flaked, coconut
- 1 sm container of cool whip for piping

- TO MAKE SAUCE:
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 1/3 c vinegar
- 2/3 c water
- 3 T cornstarch
- 2 lbs uncooked pork, sliced in strips
- 1/4 c onion, sliced
- 1 medium cucumber, peeled & sliced
- I like to add:

- 1 cup of shredded cheddar
- 1 cup of cooked crumbled Jimmy Dean sausage or cooked, diced ham
- 1 tablespoon of finely diced yellow onion
- 2 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1-1/2 cups of milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning (like Slap Ya Mama), or to taste, optional
- 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper, or to taste
