- 2 cups/500ml plain thick yogurt or sour cream
- 4 avocados, pitted, peeled and chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- A handful fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
- A few drops green hot sauce, such as Tabasco
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Cheesy Baked Grits

Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 1 quart milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup uncooked grits
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Ingredients
- 1 pound small shrimp
- 1 pound Louisiana crawfish
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 1 bunch scallions (green onions)
- 2 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasonings
- Tony's seasoning to taste or your choice Cajun seasoning

Mix the first 5 ingredients together
- 1 can Mexican corn, drained
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup grated pepper jack cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Finely grated fresh jalapeno
- Fresh jalapeno pepper slices with seeds removed
Sausage Bread

Combine all ingredients (scrape avocado from skin) except for chopped chives in the bowl of a food processor
- 8 whole Hard Boiled Eggs, Peeled
- 2 whole Avocados, Pitted
- 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 3 teaspoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- Black Pepper To Taste

Grandma Lizzie's Cornbread Dressing

- Butter, for greasing pan
- 1/2 loaf white bread, cut into small cubes and toasted
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons turkey fat or butter, skimmed from pan drippings
- 1/2 Buttermilk Cornbread, recipe follows
- 1/4 pound saltine crackers, or about 1 sleeve crumbled
- 3 hard-boiled large eggs, peeled and chopped
- 4 cups turkey pan juices, chicken broth or low-sodium canned broth
- Salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons corn oil or bacon drippings
- 3 cups self-rising white cornmeal
- 2 1/2 to 3 cups buttermilk, well shaken
