Michelle Roy's Cinnamon Buns

400 degrees F roll up and cut into slices greased pan 15 min
- 2.5 c flour
- .5 c white sugar
- pinch of salt
- .75 c milk
- 1 tsp b soda
- 2 tsp b power
- .5 c shortening
- .5 c margarine
- ~*~*~*~
- .25 c melted margarine
- .5 c brown sugar
- 1 or 2 tsp cinnamon
Cornish Pasties

Makes 6
- FILLING:
- pastry for 1 double crust 9-inch pie
- 1 C cooked, cubed beef
- 1 small potato, peeled, diced
- 1 small carrot, peeled, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 C gavy
- 1 Tbsp steak sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Vegetable Broth (OhMyVeggies)

Omit salt and pepper if you want a base for other recipes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 3 ribs celery, chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 8 C water
- frozen vegetable scraps (2 - 3 C)
- 2 bay leaves
- a few sprigs of parsley and thyme
- salt and pepper to taste

- 1.5 pounds small red-skinned potatoes, scrubbed
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 medium-size onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp celery seeds
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 C water
- 1/4 C cider vinegar
