Slow Cooker Baked Ziti

What To Do: Coat a 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray
- 1 1/4 pounds Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 2 egg whites
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 (26-ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
- 1 (16-ounce) box uncooked ziti pasta
- 1/4 teaspoon chopped parsley

In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs and milk and let stand for 10 minutes
- 1 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 oz. finely chopped prosciutto
- 1 lb. ground beef

- 1/2 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

- 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano
- 6 Tbs. finely chopped fresh basil

- 1 tsp. kosher salt, plus more, to taste
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper, plus more, to taste
- 5 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes with juices

- 1 pound (3-1/2 cups) unbleached bread flour; more as needed
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar or honey
- 1-1/2 teaspoons table salt (or 2-1/2 tsp. kosher salt)
- 1-1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1-1/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil; more as needed

French Toast Souffle

- What To Do:
- 14 to 16 slices hearty white bread, cut into 1-inch cubes (about 10 cups)
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 8 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups reduced-fat milk
- 2/3 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
- Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Place bread cubes in baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs, beating well after each addition. Add milk, half-and-half, maple syrup, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Pour cream cheese mixture over top of bread cubes, cover, and chill for at least 2 hours, or as long as overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove dish from refrigerator and let stand for 20 minutes. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until set. Sprinkle souffle with confectioners' sugar just before serving.
Garam Masala-Chocolate Gingerbread

- 2/3 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon fine salt

- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature (1 1/2 sticks)
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup molasses
