Texas-Style Barbecued Chicken

Combine dry seasonings well
- 6 tablespoons salt
- 3 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons ground bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 3 broiler-fryers (2 1/2 pounds each), quartered
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Nicole's Cheese Spread

- 2 pounds cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 large jar real mayonnaise
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- Dash of Garlic Salt
- 1 canned jalapeno, minced
Cajun Pickles

Drain pickles, save jar. Cut pickles into 1/2 inch slices
- 1 gallon whole dill pickles, NOT Kosher
- 5-6 cloves garlic
- 5-6 cinnamon sticks
- 6-8 heaping teasoons crushed red pepper
- 4-5 pounds sugar

Great Pickles

- 1 4 lb bag sugar
- 4-5 cinnamon sticks
- 4-5 garlic sections

Rye Bread Dip

- 1 1/2 cups real mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 2 tablespoons onion flakes

Whole Wheat Refrigerator Rolls

Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand 5 minutes
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup canola or olive oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 4 1/2-5 cups all purpose flour
No Bake Berry Pie

Bake and cool pie crust. In saucepan, mix 2/3 cup sugar, cornstarch abd water till smooth
- 9 " baked pie crust
- 2 cups raspberries
- 2 cups blueberries
- OR: 1 bag frozen mixed berries, thawed
- 2/3-1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Cool Whip (opt)
