Bloomin' Onion Bread

Using a sharp bread knife cut the bread going both directions
- 1 unsliced loaf of (round is preferable) sourdough bread
- 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup finely diced green onion, including white part
- 2-3 tsp poppy seeds
Cinnamon Peach Crisp

In a bowl, combine the peaches, orange juice, brown sugar and cinnamon
- CINNAMON-SUGAR:
- 4 cups sliced peeled fresh peaches
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Ham and Bacon Quiche

Fit 1 piecrust into a 9" deep-dish pie plate according to package directions; trim dough around edges of pie plate
- 1 15 oz pkg refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 6 bacon slices
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cups half-n-half
- 1 cup chopped cooked ham
- 6 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 Tbsp flour
Leftover Mashed Potato Soup

Cook bacon, and set aside to crumble
- 2 Tbsp butter or bacon drippings
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms
- 14 1/2 oz chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
- 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes (leftovers are great)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 Tbsp sour cream
- 2 Tbsp cream or half-n-half

- 1/2 c boiling water
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 1/4 c sugar
