Michele's chocolate pound cake

Sift the dry ingredients. Whip the egg whites with 1/4 cup of the sugar and set aside

- 3 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp soda

Three Citrus Chicken Breasts

Marinate overnight. Then grill the breasts
- 4 breasts
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup frozen lime juice concentrate
- 3 tblsp. lime juice
- 3 tblsp. mint leaves
- 1 tblsp. Orange peel
- 2 tsp. lime peel
- 2 tsp. Lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
- 1/4 sliced red onion
Guiness Cake

Super rich and chocolatey
- Cake:
- 2 cups stout
- 2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cup cocoa
- 4 cup flour
- 4 cup sugar
- 1 tblsp bkg soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups sour cream
- Frosting:
- 2 cups whip cream
- 1 lb bittersweet chocolate, chopped
Spiced pecans

Whip the spices into the egg whites,then add the pecans and toss to coat
- 1 egg white,slightly beaten
- 2 tblsp. cold water
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. each cinnamon, clove, allspice
- 3 cups pecans

- 2 3/4 cups flour

- 1 cup butter

Anytime Muffins

1. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper baking cups; set aside
- 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (15 oz)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 10 tbsp. butter, softened (1 1/4 sticks)
- 1 cup sugar (7 oz)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups plain whole milk yogurt
Blackberry syrup

Try this on waffles, or in a cocktail instead of blackberry liquior
- To make fresh berry juice I use a food mill and the fine setting. Just microwave your berries for a few minutes and crush a bit to get them started. Them juice them in the food mill.
- 8 cups berry juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 cups karo
- 1/2 cup vanilla syrup( Torani)
- 6 cups sugar
- 1 tblsp pectin for thickening ( makes your syrup thicker for pancakes)
Gingerbread waffles

- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp bkg powder
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp each cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and allspice
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1-2 cups buttermilk
- 3 eggs
