Macaroni and Cheese

- Topping:
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 2 cups panko
- 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- Main dish:
- 1 stick butter
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 5 cups milk
- 6 cups cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 lbs macaroni

In a 4-quart saucepan, combine wine, sugar, orange juice, zest, cinnamon stick and cloves
- 2 cups dry red wine, such as cabernet or merlot
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 orange, juiced (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 (1 by 3-inch) strip orange zest
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 4 firm, ripe pears
Flounder stuffed with Crabmeat

Drain the mushrooms. Reserve the liquid
- Sauce:
- 2 lbs flounder filets
- 1 3oz chopped mushroom can
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup butter
- 7 oz can of crabmeat
- 1/2 cup crushed saltines
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup wine
- paparika
- 3 tablespoons flour
- milk
- 1 cup swiss cheese
Chicken Pot Pie

1. Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat
- Cooked carrots, peas, and potatoes
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 1/2-3 cups cooked chicken
- Pastry for 9-inch two-crust pie
Flounder Stuffed with Crabmeat

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup wine
- paprika
- 3 tablespoons flour
- milk
- 1 cup swiss cheese
Lentil Soup

Mix together and simmer for one hour
- 1 lbs Lentils
- 2 1/2 quart water
- 1 cup barley
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 ribs of celery
- 2 carrots
- 1 large potato
- 3 tablespoons parsley
- 1 16 oz can tomato
- 3 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
7 layer salad

Refrig overnight
- 1 inch layer chopped lettuce
- 1 cup chopped pepper
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup onion
- 8 pieces bacon crumbled
- 4 hard boiled eggs
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas (thawed but not cooked)
- mix 1cup mayo and 3-4 tablespoons sugar. Spread over salad.
- Top with 1 cup shredded cheese
- Set overnight or few hours

Use multicolored peppers if you can, and feel free to use ground turkey instead of ground beef
- 4 bell peppers, red, yellow, or green
- 2 teaspoons salt

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, divided
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup cooked long-grain rice
- shredded mild Cheddar cheese, about 1/2 cup
