- Cake:
- 1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose or cake-and-pastry flour
- 1 tsp. (5 ml) baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. (1 ml) salt

- 1/4 cup (60 ml) maple syrup
- 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar, not packed
- Icing sugar
- Filling:
- 1 cup (250 ml) whipping cream
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. (30 to 45 ml) maple syrup
- Topping:
- 1-1/2 cups (375 ml) whipping cream
