  • 1 TB clarified butter or ghee

  • 1 pound 85/15 grass-fed organic ground beef

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can of diced tomatoes (don’t drain)

  • 1-10.75 oz can condensed tomato soup
  • 1-8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 c frozen whole kernel corn
  • 1/2 c chopped pitted ripe olives
  • 2 T chili powder
  • 1/2 teas ground black pepper
  • 3/4 c yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1 teas baking powder
  • 1/2 teas baking soda
  • 1/2 teas salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c buttermilk or sour milk (1 T vinegar or lemon juice to enough milk to make cup total liquid-let this set for 5 minutes before adding to mixture
