  • 1 8oz pkg cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1

1. Place the cream cheese and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Beat until light and creamy, about 1 minute.
2. Reduce the mixer speed to low and add the sugar slowly, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
3. Add the vanilla extract and beat on high speed until fluffy.
