Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 tsp almond flavouring
- 1 cup ground almonds
- 1 pkg Holland Rusks, crushed
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 3 tbsp cream
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, egg yolks and margarine, add almond extract and cream then the ground almonds. Crush the. rusks and add alternately with the beaten egg whites by hand, as the. mixture is very thick by now. Place into a cake mold. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Melt chocolate chips over low heat and spread, evenly over cake when it is cooled.
