  • 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) package Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 T. BBQ sauce, divided
  • 1 (32 oz.) package Smithfield Golden Rotisserie Pork Tenderloin

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. In a small skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly. Stir in cream cheese and 2 T. bbQ sauce; cook for 4 minutes or until cream cheese melts and mixture is well combined. Set aside to cool.
3. Butterfly tenderloin by making a lengthwise cut down center, cutting to within 1/2 inch of other side. Open tenderloin, laying flat. Spread sausage mixture down center of tenderloin. Roll up, jelly-roll style, and tie at 2-inch intervals with kitchen string. Place, seam side down, on prepared baking sheet. Brush with 1/4 cup BBQ sauce.
4. Bake for 35 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 145 degrees. Let stand for 10 minutes. Remove string, and brush with remaining 1/4 cup BBQ sauce.

Note: You can cook the sausage mixture and assemble tenderloin up to 1 day shead. If using a smaller tenderloin, adjust the amount of stuffing accordinglty.
