Ingredients
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/8 tsp salt
- 3 c milk
- 2 tbsps butter
- 4 1/2 tbsps cornstarch
- 3/4 c brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
#1 Scald the milk until almost boiling.
#2 Mix brown sugar, corn starch, salt in a bowl.
#3 slowly stir part of scalded milk into dry ingredients.
#4 Stir back into remaining milk & cook over low heat/flame until it starts to thicken up.
#5 Remove from heat.
#6 Stir in butter & vanilla.
#7 Pour into 4 dessert dishes.
#8 Keep refrigerated.
