- 2 Cups Flour
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Butter, Melted
- 2 Eggs, Beaten
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- Glaze
- 1 Cup Confectioner's Sugar
- 2 Tbsp HOT Water

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Spray donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder & salt. in a separate bowl combine the melted butter, eggs, vanilla & cinnamon. Mix wet ingredients into the dry until well blended, do this as quickly as possible to avoid over activating the gluten in the flour making the donuts tough.
Fill the donut rings 2/3 full, bake for 8 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched. Cool. Remove from the pan and dip into glaze or frost
Decorate with sprinkles, nuts, shaved chocolate or coconut.
Donuts may also be dipped into cinnamon and sugar, instead of the glaze. If there is batter left over wait for pan to cool, wipe with clean cloth or paper towel and repeat the process
