Taco Pie
Bring the flavors of tacos together in this easy to prepare pie. Make ahead and put in the oven when you get home from dinner for a quick and easy dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 prepared 9-inch pie shell
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups salsa, divided
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1 1/2 cups crumbled Doritos
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Prick bottom of pie shell with a fork, then bake for about 10 minutes, or until set.
Saute ground beef until browned, drain and stir in taco seasoning according to package directions. Stir in 1/2 cup salsa.
In a bowl, mix remaining 1 cup salsa and sour cream until blended.
To assemble, spread 1 cup cooked taco meat in the pie shell. Add I cup salsa/sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups cheese. Add remaining meat. Add remaining salsa/sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese. Top with crumbled Doritos.
Bake for about 25 minutes, or until crust is golden and internal temperature is 165 F.
Makes 4-6 servings.
