Ingredients
- 3 kg Pork shoulder (or loin), cubed
- 1 1/2 cup Flour
- 2 tbsp Thyme
- 3 tsp Allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp Cayenne
- 1 cup Oil
- 18 Spring onions, chopped
- 4 heads of garlic, chopped
- 3-inch Ginger root, minced
- 3/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 3 L Chicken stock
Preparation
Step 1
-Mix together Flour,thyme,allspice and cayenne in a small bowl and coat pork.
-reserve seasoned flour mix for later.
-in a large saucepan brown pork in oil. Add onions,garlic and ginger to pork and cook for 2 minsadd reserved flour mix and mix well.
-mix together soy sauce, brown sugar and chicken stock, then add to pork and transfer all to slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
