German Plum Kuchen

This is a recipe that is great for any type of fruit that you want to use.

Ingredients
- 1/4 C Butter, Softened
- 3/4 C Sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 C All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/4 C Milk
- 2 C Sliced Fresh Plums of Fruit of Your Choice
- 1/2 C Packed Brown Sugar
- ! Tsp. Ground Cinnamon

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Pour into a greased 10 inch springform pan. Arrange plums on top with slices overlapping. Gently press into batter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until top is golden and a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes. Run a knife around edges to loosen sides. Remove sides and cool on a wire rack.
