cream soup substitute

save $$ by not buying cream soup cans, use this substitute instead.

Ingredients

• 1 cup powdered milk
• 3/4 cup cornstarch
• 1/4 cup instant boullion granules...any flavour
• 2 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
• 1 tsp. basil
• 1 tsp. thyme
• 1/2 tsp. pepper
• for potatoe soup add 1+1/2 cups potatoe flakes

Preparation

Step 1

mix all ingredients together. store in an airtight container.
for a "can" of soup mix 1/3 cup of dry mixture to 1+1/4 cups of cold water. cook in a saucepan to thicken, or add cold and uncooked to pot pies.
