Ingredients
- 3 large, fresh finely sliced tomatoes
- 1/2 pound fresh mozzarella cheese sliced into 1/4 inch-thick slices
- 1 cup fresh olive oil to season the salad
- 10 fresh leaves of basil torn up into bite sized pieces. You can add more if you want
- Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
In a large bowl, layer the sliced tomatoes.
Top this with the mozzarella and then with the basil leaves.
Make sure you season every layer with salt and pepper.
Pour the oil on top and shake the dish gently.
Chill until required but try to serve immediately.
