Bacon, Cheddar & Jalapeno Pinwheels

Easy to make by using refrigerated crescent rolls, these pinwheels are a perfect blend of savory and spice with bacon, cheese and jalapeños.

Ingredients
- 1 can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (or dough sheet, if you can find it)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1-2 tablespoons jalapenos, diced
- 5 slices bacon, crisped and crumbled
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F
Mix cream cheese, bacon and jalapenos together in a small bowl. Take 3/4 of the cheddar cheese and mix in, saving 1 cup for sprinkling on top later.
Roll out crescent roll dough and lightly press seems together to form a sheet.
Layer ingredients evenly on the dough and roll lengthwise.
Cut into 3/4" slices and place 2" apart on a foil lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle tops with remaining 1/4 cup of cheddar
Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until bread begins to brown.
Allow cooling slightly before plating and serving.
