Ingredients
- 2 15-ounce cans garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 3 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 small heads of garlic
- 3/4 cup diced roasted red pepper
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Transfer hummus to a medium bowl. Taste and add more salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with more diced roasted red pepper if desired.
