CHICKEN - Homemade Tangy Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250ml) tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) cider vinegar
  • 1/4 (60ml) worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup (150g) firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsps american-style mustard
  • 1 fresh small red thai chilli, chopped finely
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed/grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to the boil then reduce heat.

2. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
