Ingredients
- 125 g (4 oz) chopped butter
- 185 g (6 oz) chopped dark eating chocolate
- 1/2 cup (superfine) caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1.25 cups sifted plain flour
- 155 g (5 oz) white chocolate bits (or chopped white eating chocolate) – to add last
- 90 g (3 oz) milk chocolate bits (or chopped milk eating chocolate) – to add last
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F. Grease deep 20cm (8 inch) square cake pan and line base with baking paper, extending paper 5 cm (2 inches).
Combine chopped butter and 185 g chopped eating chocolate in medium saucepan; stir over low heat until smooth. Cool 10 minutes.
Stir in sugar, eggs, then flour and chocolate bits.
Spread mixture into pan.
Bake about 35 minutes. Cool in pan.
