Beef Hash (Slow cooker)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cut-up cooked beef - (to 3 cups)
  • (cubed stew beef works well for this)
  • 2 packages frozen hash brown potatoes - (10 oz ea) thawed
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 1 cup gravy or beef broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly-ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients in crock-pot. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 6 to 8 hours (on HIGH setting for 2 to 3 hours).

This recipe yields 4 servings (about 1 1/2 quarts). Double the recipe for a 5-quart Slow cooker.
