Ingredients
- 2 cups cut-up cooked beef - (to 3 cups)
- (cubed stew beef works well for this)
- 2 packages frozen hash brown potatoes - (10 oz ea) thawed
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine melted
- 1 cup gravy or beef broth
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients in crock-pot. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 6 to 8 hours (on HIGH setting for 2 to 3 hours).
This recipe yields 4 servings (about 1 1/2 quarts). Double the recipe for a 5-quart Slow cooker.
