Cheese Crackers

I should have never made these!!! We can't stop eating them!!! Taste great by themselves or with soups or salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the butter & cheese with a mixer. Slowly add in the flour, then the salt & red pepper. Stir in the pecans. The dough may be crumbly. Form into 2-3 logs. Wrap in waxed paper & chill for 1 hour. Cut into thin slices about 1/8" thick. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
