Ingredients
- 6 Cups shredded cabbage
- 1 Cup diced onion
- 1 Green ( yellow or sweet red is fine) pepper diced
- 2 Ribs celery diced
- 2 Tbs garlic diced
- 2 Links low fat chicken Italian sausage
- 1 Can "fire roasted" diced tomatoes
- 1/4 Cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbs EVOO
Preparation
Step 1
1- in a lRge skillet preheat EVOO
2- Sautee garlic until fragrant
3- Add onion, celery and green and cook until they begin to soften
4- Add sausage and brown
5- Add cabbage and fry until limp
6- Stir in brown sugar
7- Stir in tomatoes and stir until liquid is evaporated
Serve warm
