Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 6 frozen or fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup plain, vanilla, or berry yogurt
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 banana, peeled and cut into chunks

Preparation

Step 1

Blend all ingredients together until mixture is frothy and no big chunks remain, approx. 30-40 seconds. Serve immediately.

Peach Smoothie: replace strawberries and orange juice with 1/2 cup fresh or frozen peaches and 1 cup apple juice. Add 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Pineapple Smoothie: replace strawberries and orange juice with 1/2 cup fresh or canned pineapple chunks and 1 cup pineapple juice.

Purple Cow: replace the strawberries and orange juice with 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries and 1 cup purple grape juice.
