  • Bread 5 slices
  • Sausage (or other meat as desired)
  • Eggs 5 - 6
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Dry Mustard 1/8 tsp
  • Pepper 1/8 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Colby Cheese 10 oz

Step 1

Note: Must sit overnight. Assemble in a 9x13 glass baking dish.
Butter bread, remove crust and cube. Place cubed bread in baking dish. Cook sausage, drain and place over bread cubes. Mix eggs, milk, dry mustard, pepper and salt and pour over bread and meat. Grate cheese and sprinkle over top. Refrigerate overnight. Cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes. Let stand for 5 - 10 minutes.
