Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 4 cups peeled, chopped apples
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup milk
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, beat together sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Beat
in flour, salt and soda. Fold in pecans and chopped apples. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Leave in pan.
In sauce pan, combine brown sugar, butter and milk. Boil and stir for 2 ½ minutes. Pour over hot cake. Let cool in pan. Some of the topping will be absorbed in the cake. Serve from cake pan.
