
Ingredients
- 1 T butter
- 1/2 cup onion (approx)
- 1/2 cup cilantro (approx)
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water

Step 1
Melt butter in pan. Add onions then sprinkle with salt. Sauté onions until translucent. Pour rice into pan and sauté for a couple minutes. Add water and cilantro, stir, then cook rice per package directions.
Can use this rice as a base for other dishes or add black beans and/or cooked chicken and serve over bed of greens, wrapped in a tortilla or eat plain.
