Ingredients
- 8 or more slices cheese
- 16 slices white bread - trimmed
- 1/2 lb ham sliced thin
- 7 eggs beaten
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 3 cups cornflakes
- 1 stick margarine
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together eggs, milk, and mustard.
Butter 9 x 13 pan and cover bottom with 8 slices bread. Break ham & cheese into bite size pieces & cover the bread. Add remaining slices bread; pour milk and egg mixture over all. Refrigerate overnight.
Crush 3 cups cornflakes - add to 1 stick melted margarine - sprinkle over the top before baking.
Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
