Preparation

Step 1

Delicious, mouthwatering, and juice, is the only way to describe these pork chops. This year has been the year of pork for me and I try to make it whenever I can. I used be afraid to make any kind of protein, but it really isn’t too hard to cook! I hope this tutorial gives you the confidence to make perfect pork chops every time you want to make them. Once you make these pork chops, your family and friends will be asking for you to cook for them all the time!

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides. In a Cast Iron skillet or a heavy sauté  pan, heat the skillet till it’s extremely hot. Add oil and place the pork chops in the pan.  Add the garlic and rosemary to the skillet and then the Tbsp. of butter. Cook on Medium to High heat for 3-4 minutes on the first side.

When you are done cooking the pork chop, place it on a plate or a cutting board and let it rest for 8-12 minutes before eating or slicing.  Now you are ready to eat or slice the pork chop.
