Ingredients

  • 1 (8-count) crescent rolls
  • 1 (8-ounce) round Brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 teaspoons sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3 red and green apples, sliced

Step 1

Unroll the crescent roll dough. Press three-fourth of the dough into a square on a baking sheet. Reserve the remaining dough for decorative shapes if desired. Place the Brie in the center of the square.

Slice the Brie horizontally into halves. Sprinkle the raisins, almonds and cinnamon over the bottom half and top with the remaining half cut side down. Pull the corners of the dough around the Brie, covering the round totally. Press lightly to ensure it is totally sealed. Brush the dough with the egg.

Cut the reserved dough into desired shapes using small cookie cutters. Arrange in a decorative pattern over the top of the Brie. Bake using the crescent dough can directions until golden brown. Serve warm with the apples and or your favorite fruit jam.
