Butterscotch Oat Squares

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar ( firmly packed )
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups of oats

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients and then spread into an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Press down with hands. Bake in oven at 375 for about 8 - 10 minutes or until the center is bubbling. Remove from oven and set timer for 5 min, then cut into squares while warm. Loosen the outside edges. Must cool completely before removing or they'll just crumble!
