Pizza Puttanesca

Ingredients
- 1/2 pizza dough from your grocer's deli
- all purpose flour for dusting
- 1 tablespoon course ground cornmeal
- 1/4 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tomato
- pinch of salt
- cracked black pepper
- 6-8 Spanish green olives
- 1 mild cherry pepper from a jar
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Step 1
Preheat oven 450 degrees
Crust: Bring pizza dough to room temp. Heat pizza stone in warming oven and spread cornmeal over stone. Use flour on hands and on board as needed for dough. Stretch dough to 9 inch round and carefully place on cornmeal dusted pizza stone.
Sauce: Mix pizza sauce, anchovy paste, garlic and olive oil and spread over top of crust.
Topping: Top pizza with shredded mozzarella and freshly shredded Parmesan cheese. Slice tomato in thin slices. Lightly salt and pepper each slice and place slices over top of pizza. Reserve ends of tomato and chop tomato, olives and cherry pepper into small pieces. Stir in remaining olive oil and capers and spread over top of pizza. Sprinkle with dried oregano.
Bake pizza 10 minutes. Turn off heat and bake additional 10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes, slice and serve.
