Chili Con Carne
From Ann Romney's cookbook. She makes it frequently and serves with salad and corn bread.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 2 cans kidney beans (15.5 ounce)
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 ounce)
- 1 can condensed tomato soup (10.5 ounce)
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 T sugar
- 2 t chili powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 soup can water
Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef with onions in large frying pan. Add kidney beans, tomatoes, and soup. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, chili powder, and salt. Stir in 1/2 soup can water. Gradually stir into meat mixture and cook 5 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring frequently.
Simmer 20 minutes.
