Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces and softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Italian parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 to 2 1/2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft, about 4 minutes. Add wine and reduce mixture to half. Remove from heat and mix in butter, parsley, salt and pepper. Season the shrimp with sea salt and toss with 2 tbsp olive oil. Grill shrimp until cooked and top with white wine sauce.
