Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 pkg (24 oz) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cans (2.8 oz) French fried onions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Brown hamburger. Add salt (pepper, other spices to taste). Transfer to large bowl. Add potatoes, soup, sour cream, cheese, and chopped onion. Mix well. Spread into a 13x9 baking dish. Bake 30 minutes. Top with fried onions. Bake 15 minutes more or until bubbly.
