  • 1 - 10 oz. French bread
  • 8 large eggs
  • 3 c milk
  • 4 t sugar
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 T butter cut into small pieces

Step 1

Grease a 13 X 9 X 2 baking pan. Cut bread into 1” pieces; arrange in one layer. Combine all ingredients (except butter), pour over bread, cover with foil and refrigerate 4 - 36 hrs. To bake, uncover pan, dot with butter, bake 45 - 50 min @ 350; let stand 5 min. Serve with yogurt, fruit, honey, syrup, etc.
