By

Got this recipe from watching a video that was part of the Underground Wellness Summit titled "Just Eat Real Food." Since I have a flank steak in the freezer, thought I might as well try this recipe!

Preparation

Step 1

Combine arrow root powder, salt, and pepper. Toss meat in this mixture to coat, then place on a wire rack to dry out.

Add 1-2 T fat to sauce pan and heat up. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, powdered ginger, more salt and pepper. Then add coconut aminos and broth. Cook and reduce down, 3-5 minutes. It will thicken. Then stir in honey.

Add approximately 1/2 cup fat to skillet and coat the bottom enough to fry the steak. Put steak in for approximately 2 minutes on each side, cooking until brown on each side. Then add the sauce and cook for approximately 3 more minutes. Garnish with green onions on top.
