Peanut Brittle

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 sticks Imperial margarine - no substitutes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup dry roasted unsalted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Put all ingredients but peanuts in heavy duty saucepan
2. Bring to a boil and stir constantly for 10-15 mins until light brown
3. Add peanuts, stir and turn onto greased cookie sheet
4. Spread as much as possible and cool
5. Break into pieces
