Ingredients

  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 6 1/2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 3 cups ground pork
  • salt and pepper
  • Sage, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Bring broth to a boil. Add water to conrmeal to make it 'soupy' and add to broth.

Cook on low 30-40 minutes, stirring constantly, until it pulls away from pan. Stir in seasonings.

Divide into small pans and let cool.

Slice and fry until crisp.

Can be frozen.
