Ingredients
- 8 ears corn, husked
- 2 Tblsp. Sugar
- 1 Tblsp. all-purpose flour
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 Tblsp. bacon grease
- 1 Tblsp. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Scrape the kernels off the corn, scrape the milk off the cob.
Whisk together sugar, flour, and salt & pepper. Combing with corn. Add the heavy cream and water. Mix.
In a large skillet over med. heat, heat bacon grease. Add corn mixture and turn heat down to med.-low. stirring until it becomes creamy, about 30 min.
Add the butter right before serving.
