Jalapeno Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 diced sweet onion
  • 1 c. shredded Colby Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 15 oz can creamed corn
  • 2 chopped jalapenos

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake 45 minutes at 375° until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
