Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 2 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, blend together butter and sugars. Beat in eggs, one at a time; stir in peanut butter, water and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking soda; stir into butter mixture. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire racks.
Makes 3 dozen.
