Pie Dough Tarts (Left Over Dough)

You can use your pie crust that is leftover from making your pies. Or use one whole pie shell for wonderful tarts! No leftovers here!

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust, rolled out - I use store bought, two in a carton pie dough!
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out dough, as large as your space allows! Melt butter in microwave.
Use a pastry brush to brush on butter. I don't measure my butter, just plop some in a glass measuring cup and heat.

Sprinkle on sugar and cinnamon. Go lightly on cinnamon, but splurge on the sugar.

Roll dough up as tight as you can to make a long shape. Slice the tarts and 1" thick and lay down on cookie sheet.


Bake for 25 minutes.
